To all 5 Formers of SMJK Chong Hwa, this is not just a regular event like some ordinary MP(Farewell Parties) by some societies or clubs!
This is SUPERB, GRAND, SYMBOLIC and an UNPRECEDENTED VINTAGE; and most of all, your last dance with chicks and dudes you call friends who have shared tears and joy together with you in Chong Hwa. After SPM, we know the inevitable will come, that most of us are gonna scatter all around the world. This is a night to be remembered and cherished.

THE VERY FIRST PROM NIGHT EVER organized in the history of the land of Gombak. So don’t miss this fascinating opportunity!

What is the purpose?

Eternity, our theme says it all.
We want our friendship to ever last.
Be it sweet, sour, bitter and SPICY, we want to keep this memory alive throughout the rest of our lives.
This is the last year, to most of us, in Chong Hwa. Time is slipping by, with nothing but worries and hardship, but hidden behind all this bitterness is a good touching story.

Let this prom night, this dance, this party mark a beautiful end to the old-school-story, and begin a new and hopeful strife in the next story.

Where is the prom?

Renaissance ballroom (any changes will be immediately notified)

Who are invited? Science and Art Classes?

Both. All Form 5s.

Since it is a prom night, must I have a partner?

Not necessarily. But with a partner, you get to ballroom dance and do all kinds of stuff we do in prom.

Must all participants be Form 5 students?

Yes, in an objective to meet our theme.

Can I invite a non-F5, or a non-Chong Hwa schoolmate as my partner?

Not encouraged. Because it might lead to much inconvenience and issues.

Do I need to wear tux(dudes)/dinner gowns(chicks)?

Formal wear. Decent a bit la.
Jeans are not allowed.
C’mon la, 5-star hotel man~ Act/pretend to be high-class abit for an evening for goodness’ sake.

Can I take part in the committee planning work?

Erm, gotta ask HK(sure, just see me.)


Err, is the food Halal? any beef?
Totally halal and no beef served, suits everyone.

Absolutely NOT. NO SMOKING, Pleeeeeease!

Is this prom affiliated with the school authorities?

Nope. We are in no way affiliated with the school.
